How message parts work
One SMS holds up to 160 standard characters. A few things change that.
Standard text
Up to 160 characters fit in one part. Longer messages are sent in parts of 153 characters.
Emoji and other scripts
Emoji or non-Latin letters switch the whole message to Unicode: 70 characters in one part, then 67 per part.
Check before you send
The send form counts characters and parts as you type, so you always know the cost before you press send.

One SMS holds up to 160 standard characters, or 70 if the message uses characters such as emoji or non-Latin letters. Longer messages are sent in parts of 153 or 67 characters, and each part is charged at the rate for its destination.
Are there monthly or setup fees?
No. You only pay for the messages you send. There is no monthly fee, no setup fee and no contract.
How do I pay?
Top up your balance by card from the dashboard, and set a low-balance alert so you never run out. Larger accounts can ask us about monthly invoicing.
Is GST included?
Prices in Australian dollars exclude GST. GST of 10% is added to top-ups in Australian dollars.
Can I get volume pricing?
Yes. If you send large volumes, talk to us about a rate that fits.
